Enter the Controlled Mini-world of Biosphere 2
For the first time since the structure was built more than a decade ago, visitors can explore inside the 3.15 acre structure on a fully guided tour. This tour utilizes a new trail traversing most of Biosphere 2's wilderness ecosystems that allows easier access to the public.

Guided Tours “Under the Glass”
Guided tours inside Biosphere 2 begin throughout the day. The admission agent will provide tour times and start locations. The interior portion of the tour is not wheelchair or stroller accessible due to Biosphere 2 being a research facility.

Self-guided Exterior Tour
If you would rather go at your own pace you can participate in a self-guided tour of the exterior of Biosphere 2, movie theater, human habitat, climate change exhibit, and ocean viewing gallery. The self-guided tour will not take you inside under the glass.

Operating Hours
Biosphere 2 is open daily from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

PLEASE NOTE: Biosphere 2 will be CLOSED Thanksgiving and Christmas Day!
